Bender is a major protagonist of the Futurama franchise, acting as one of its comic reliefs. He appears in Battle World with a minor role. He is first mentioned in the beginning, but later appears when MEGAS and Gyarados are looking for Godzilla. After a brief conversation with the MEGAS pilots, Raz telepathically informs him and his new acquaintances of the situation. However, Bender and Coop were quite skeptical of Raz. But after Raz elaborates on how he knows so much, Bender eventually decides to go to Tokyo with the others, but only when he was promised sake.
